What to expect, and what to bring

Here is how the day goes, and where to fill in the forms ahead of time.

We keep the first minutes quiet. Children get time to look around the room before anyone asks them to do anything.

Step 1: Book
Use the booking link or call. Tell us your child's age, and anything that helps your child feel at ease.

Step 2: Forms
Fill in the patient forms ahead of time, or come ten minutes early and do them in the waiting room.

Step 3: The visit
An eye exam with the doctor and a technician, and you beside your child.

Step 4: Before you leave
A copy of any prescription, a written estimate for anything you pay yourself, and the next visit, if there is one.

We check your benefits before the visit where we can. How fees work explains which visits a vision plan pays, which medical insurance pays and what you pay yourself.

- A list of any eye drops or medicines your child uses
- Your questions, on paper or on your phone
